Make an Impact

We work across a variety of platforms to transform attitudes and create more welcoming communities in more than 170 countries across the globe. Today’s Special Olympics is about far more than just an occasional event: it is a lifetime experience encompassing year-round sports training, competition, health, education and inclusion opportunities.

Our Commitment to YOU

Special Olympics has been recognized as one of the world’s most powerful and effective social movements. Awards from SportAccord and top ratings from Philanthropedia are demonstrations of our effectiveness, as is the fact that 83% of our funds raised go to support local programs around the world.

The Strategic Gifts department at Special Olympics works with committed individuals, families and institutions with the capacity to make significant gifts in support of Special Olympics and who are passionate about the impact their philanthropic investments can make. We work to align that capacity and passion for impactful philanthropy with the strategic priorities of the Special Olympics movement to make a difference in the communities where we work.
