Microsoft Is a New Special Olympics Partner

Special Olympics Chief Executive Officer Janet Froetscher and Jeff Hansen, general manager of Microsoft Brand Studio, sign the agreement.
Microsoft has launched a multi-year partnership with Special Olympics, reinventing our core systems, helping to create the long term strategy for technology empowering our organization, providing software and hardware, and supporting the 2015 World Summer Games in Los Angeles along with the 2017 World Winter Games in Austria. The new partnership was announced in blog posts on the Special Olympics and Microsoft websites on 27 October. Together Microsoft and Special Olympics will change the world combining what each does best, technology and sports. Through a global, cross-functional partnership, Microsoft and Special Olympics will create more effective systems that will ultimately enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities who are involved in Special Olympics.
